ENTRY LEVEL : Upper Intermediate (B2)

This is an Upper Intermediate entry level course based on the writing part of the IELTS exam. Your English should be Upper Intermediate (B2) level before trying this course.

Prepare for both IELTS writing Tasks 1 and 2, and improve the style, accuracy and readability of your writing. Get feedback on your errors and mistakes and score higher on the writing part of the IELTS exam. Additionally, this course will help any student improve their overall writing skills.

Learn to accurately describe graphs, charts, diagrams and maps. Use approximation, proportion and fractions to paraphrase percentages. Study verbs and adverbs for upward and downward trends. Then as the course moves to Task 2, learn how to start your writing, structure ideas and conclude effectively. Work on advantages and disadvantages, discussion and other types of essay questions. Identify simple, compound and complex sentences, and structure your writing effectively, using cohesive devices and logical writing flow, linking and connecting ideas naturally.

In addition, the course covers related vocabulary and grammar. For example, passive voice constructions; comparing and contrasting; examining keywords, verbs and constructions; as well as, revising key grammatical tenses including Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect, Past Simple and Future Simple.
